Pair of antique white ironstone apothecary jars with original paper labels.
There are 2 labels on each jar, front and back, with European and Latin names for the contents. One label is gold with a black and red border, the other is a deep burgundy accented with a fanciful art nouveau pattern in gold.
Good condition with crazing and discoloration to the glaze. Minor chips to the inside rim of one of the lids. Wear and some loss to the paper labels.
Measuring 11 1/2" tall and 4" in diameter at the base.
